Answer #1

Answer 3) Neighbourhood clinics

Medical staff and patients are the most important stakeholders for a hospital.

Patients are the one that bring in revenue. Whole operations, finance and other activities depend upon how many patients visit the hospital.

Another important stakeholders are doctors, nurses and other medical staff. The reputation and reliability of a medical institution like hospital will depend upon how efficient and competent its doctors and nurses are. Patients will only visit the hospitals if they get access to good doctors and nurses.

Pharmaceutical companies are important stakeholders because they act as vendors for the hospitals. Hospitals have tie-ups with pharmaceutical companies and pharma distributors to ensure steady supply of medicines and reduce procurement costs.

Though competitors are considered stakeholders for the business, but the size of the competitor is also a factor which tells how important that stakeholder is for the business. For a major metropoliton hospital, small clinics in the neighbourhood can be considered fairly lesser important stakeholder when compared to patients, doctors, nurses, pharmaceutical companies and distributors.
