Spontaneous process is the one that occurs without the use of external energy. It has a negative gibbs free energy change.

Non spontaneous process is the one that does not take place on its own . The process requires an external energy source to proceed. It has a positive gibbs free energy change.

Reversible process is the one that can proceed in forward as well as reverse direction.

Irreversible process is the one that can proceed only in one direction.
