Answer #1

Answer 1- In the opinion of Howard Gardner, multiple intelligence is a philosophy, there are different types of intelligence that can be excelled by different individuals. There are 9 different types of intelligence that can be excelled by any individual and these are enlisted as below=

  • Verbal-Linguistic Intelligence
  • Mathematical-Logical Intelligence
  • Musical Intelligence
  • Visual-Spatial Intelligence
  • Bodily-Kinesthetic Intelligence
  • Interpersonal Intelligence
  • Intrapersonal Intelligence
  • Naturalist Intelligence
  • Existential Intelligence

If we look from the business world’s perspective, this concept or theory is quite important as traditional IQ tests mainly focus on determining the linguistic and logical-mathematical abilities of a person. But the multiple intelligence theory provides the framework for the overall personality and different types of intelligence that can be possessed by the different individuals. We all are different in doing the things, acting in social platforms and having the interaction with others The business have to take care of these differences while electing, training and focusing on the manpower so that the maximum output can be obtained from the manpower. With the help of the multiple intelligence test the business can try to inculcate those intelligence which are not o strong in any individual or to focus on those and capitalize the intelligence that can work best in the given business setup. These intelligences can help the business to post the right individual for the right job depending on the requirement of the job and the intelligence possessed by the person

When it comes to leading others, these intelligences are also equally important as these can be utilized to lead the individuals, meeting their concerns and dealing with the people. This will provide a platform from which the leader can work on his or her intelligence to interact and influence the followers.

Answer 2=, In my opinion, I would rate the Logical/Mathematical Intelligence as highest as being a logical individual, I would like to focus more on the reason and the logic behind any concept or action. If these intelligences are developed then the chances of making the incorrect decisions can be minimized and at the same time, it will provide a better picture about the given problem or scenario
