How would you feel if you were a parent of a child that was intelligent to genius levels? What would be the potential benefits or drawbacks? What challenges would you think that you would face as parent? What steps would you take to ensure both his/her intellectual and social development?.

Answer - If I were a parent of a child that was intelligent to genius levels I would feel very happy and proud that I am parent of an intelligent child and I would try to make my child better than what he is at present .

The potential benefits of his intelligence is that he would excel in any field where he wants to pursue his career and he would be recognised by everyone . The potential drawbacks would be that he would always try to gain bookish knowledge and would try to remain isolated from the social connections .

The challenges I think that I would face would be that I would be having a responsibility to inculcate the social skills in my child and I would try to persuade him to take up the extra curricular activities .

In order to ensure both his intellectual and social development I would give him or make him available books and knowledge of every sort and I would also try to give him social exposure so that he develops social skills and I would give him some part of my time and would interact with him so that he develops the social skills and communication skills .
