ESA stands for ENVIRONMENTAL SENSITIVE AREA. This are those area which are environmentally sensitive and need a lot of attention. Most of the animal species in these area may be rare and need attention. So there is a neee for conservation and preservation of the flora and fauna in that area and also the land area also needs the attention since it may leads to desertification in that area
