Global health security can be described as global preparedness and the preparatory measures considered to tackle infectious diseases. It is important to mention that the global health security is more of an integrative approach of the different countries to tackle infectious diseases. Whereas, humanitarian biomedicine can be described as the approach of targeting the diseases that are currently present in the poorer countries of the world. The best approach is the humanitarian approach because the poorer countries require more attention than the developed ones.

The primary sources of regional inequalities in the health outcomes include the unequal allocation of power and resources, the interpersonal and institutional mechanisms that affect the distribution of resources and power. The health condition of the countries that are lagging can be improved through international aid, international expertise in the medical field and helping such lagging countries to improve their economy.
