System development Lifecycle depends on a software system to gather any technical information about an organization. On the contrary, Agile development methodology is a software development lifecycle approach where consumer satisfaction is provided through a collaborative work developed by several cross-functional teams. Comparing and contrasting System development lifecycle and Agile development methodology are as follows:

• SDLC is utilized for the smooth maintenance of a project. On the contrary, an Agile methodology is an iterative approach which is utilized in SDLC for software development
• SDLC is utilized to improve product quality. However, Agile methodology is utilized for quality software production
• SDLC is supportive of any kinds of a technical project. On the contrary, Agile methodology is also utilized in any kind of project which can be segregated into incremental builds.
• SDLC is applicable in any kinds of projects irrespective of its volume. Agile methodology is utilized in small volume projects
• SDLC does not allow any big change. However, Agile technology allows free flow of changes
