We have given, Regression equation is,

$\hat{y} = 1.6 x - 0.7$

Here we have to find $\hat{y}$ for given Date as 2004. This date will come for x = 6

Just input the value of x in above equation,

$\hat{y}$ = 1.6 * 6 - 0.7

$\hat{y}$ = 8.9
