Write an essay why the government should extended DACA!

Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program (DACA) is a program which is a program which protects and provides a level of amnesty to undocumented immigrants most of whom came to the US as children and established their lives by studying and working in the US. The identified immigrants have a consideration of deferred action for a period of two years post which it is subject for a renewal as introduced through executive order by the then president Obama in 2012.

Trump administration has decided to end the program as it doesn't have any legal status and this could result in thousands of people losing their jobs and discontinuing their school studies.

The program should have been extended for the below reasons -

1. Many of the immigrants are pursuing their education, jobs and some are even serving the government as well as military in various positions.

2. The people who have lived in the US for long period have become US citizens by mind and heart though they don't have the legal status to challenge the DACA program termination.

3. This would result in a considerable blackmark on US immigration status.
