Outside Forces

Demographic Characteristics – It includes Gender, Age, Education, Immigration.

Technological Advancements – Information Technology, Manufacturing automation,

Shareholders, Customer & Market Changes - Changing customer preferences, Unmet needs, Mergers & Acquisitions, Domestic & International Competition.

Social & political pressure – War, Leadership of a country.

Inside Forces

Human Resources Concerns – Job Dissatisfaction, Absenteeism & Turnover, Productivity, Participation/Suggestions, Values.

Managers’ Behavior – Skill level, Managerial Leadership, Reward system, Structural Reorganization, Conflict.
