Answer #1

Radius of the tire, r = 0.230 m

Circumference of the tire, C = 2\pi r = 2\pi (0.230 m) = 1.445\ m

Total distance travelled before wearing of the tire = 60000 km

Number of revolutions each tire makes is ,

N =\frac { Distance \ travelled \ by \ the \ tire }{circumference \ of \ the \ tire}

N =\frac { 60000 \times 10^3 m}{1.445 \ m }

\boxed {N =4.152\times 10^7}

Therefore, the number of revolutions that each tire makes before wearing out are 4.152 × 107 .
