A person engaging in vigorous exercise can ensure that fermentation does not begin in their muscle cells in the following ways:

  • The person should drink plenty of water in between his exercise as fementation forms lactic acid that is build up in muscles and it is water soluble.So,keeping the body hydrated will reduce lactic acid build up.due to fermentation.
  • He should breathe deep in through his nose and breathe out through his mouth as soon as he feels burning sensation in his muscles as he exercises vigourously.This delivers oxygen to the muscle cells and stops fermentation and lactic acid formation.
  • As soon, as the person feels a burning sensation in his muscles, he should decrease the intensity of his workout and slow down so thet oxygen gets into muscle cells and stops fermentation.
