Tertiary alcohols do not react. Hence your answer is correct. 3. The order of reactivity of alcohols for Lucas test is 1° 20< 3°.Hence 2-methyl-2-butanol will react fastest. 4. Ferric chloride test is given by phenols as well as enols. Hence the 2nd and 3rd compound will give the ferric chloride test.
