(c) In the US, there are two variations of sex education, All-inclusive education where everything is discussed, abstinence, contraception & other ways to protect STIs and pregnancy, abortion, healthy relationships, masturbation, sexual identity including orientation and gender identity OR Abstinence only, where they are only allowed to discuss abstinence (refraining from sex until marriage), students in these types of programs are told and expected to wait until marriage to have sex and questions about sex outside the confines of marriage and contraception are typically not answered or addressed if it is out of the scope of abstinence. They also typically do not discuss contraception & other ways to protect against STIs and pregnancy, abortion, masturbation, sexual orientation and gender identity. Which type of program do you think adolescents in public high school should be getting? Why? 3. (a) Do you think it is important to have the two partners (or more) reach orgasm during a sexual encounter? (it doesn't have to be at the same time; should both people have orgasms at some point during their sex session) Why/Why not? (b) is orgasm the goal of the sexual encounter? Explain. (c) What happens if one of the partners is unable to orgasm? What would you do?
