Answer #1

ANSWER :

The formed elements of the blood consist of all the cells and cell fragments that remain suspended in the plasma component of blood. e.g.- Erythrocytes (RBCs), Leucocytes (WBCs), Thrombocytes or platelets (cell fragments). The term "formed elements" is used to describe these suspended components of blood, because they are enclosed in the plasma membrane and have a definite shape and size.
