Wilhelm Wundt is considered to be the father of psychology who tried to establish Psychology as a science discipline through proper experiments. He set-up the first laboratory in order to conduct introspection for his clients. Introspection refers to the subjective interpretation of one’s feelings, emotions and behaviors in the present time but reflection or contemplation refers to contemplating on one’s past actions thus trying to move forward in the future. Wundt tried to change the intensity of the stimulus thus recording the changes in the feelings and behaviors thus making it more quantitative.
