Answer #1

p(x) = x^3 - 12x^2 + 47x - 60

one zeros is x = 3

dividing the polynomial by x - 3

2 – 3 22 -9. +20 ) 23 – 12.x2 +472 -60 -3.02 -9.02 +47 -60 -9.c2 +272 20% -60 20x -60

on dividing we get

x^2 - 9x + 20

x^2 - 9x + 20 = 0

( x - 5) ( x- 4) = 0

x = 5 , x = 4

remaining zeros are

x = 5 , 4

factored form of P(x) is

P(x) = ( x - 3 ) ( x- 4) ( x- 5)
