The cumulative improvement factor for 9 units at 85% learning rate = 6.533

The total time taken to produce units 10th through 13th = (The cumulative improvement factor for 13 units at 85% learning rate - The cumulative improvement factor for 9 units at 85% learning rate) * The time taken to produce the first unit

= (8.792 - 6.533) * 80

= 180.72 days

Hence the correct answer is option B, i.e. from 175 to 195 days
