The wavelengths of light the plants use in photosynthesis belongs to some specific colours ie. They belong to the visible spectrum.

The chlorophyll pigments absorb a certain wavelength of light ans others are reflected. E.g. The plants appear green because the chlorophyll pigments absorb blue light.
