Answer #1

If the male has homozogyous for M gene, there is no chance of black and brown offspring, which indiates that for gene M the male is heterozgyous. so,
for gene M: Mm

If the male has homozygous for R gene, ther is no chance of spotted offspring, as the spotted offspring and solid offspring indicates that for gene R the male is heterzygous. so,
for gene R: Rr

If the male has homozygous for B gene, ther is no chance of brown offspring, as the presence of black offspring and brown offspring indicates that for gene B the male is heterzygous. so,
for gene B: Bb.

So, the male genotype is  MmRrBb.

can i get help with these 2 problems? In the yawncat (a rare hypothetical animal), the black coat color allele B is dominant to the brown allele b, but the B locus can only be expressed if the animal has an mm genotype at a second gene locus. 2. In Labrador dogs, there are 2 loci that determine coat color. The first locus, B is dominant to b. At least one B allele will produce black coat color, while the bb genotype produces a chocolate coat color. This first locus also determines nose color in Labradors: B_ black noses, and bb brown noses. The second locus has a genotype, ee, that is epistatic in nature. Any Labrador with an ee genotype will be yellow. A genotype containing at...

    1) Coat color in mice is determined by several independently assorting autosomal genes. Gene A is involved in the distribution of pigment along the hair. A dominant allele (A) produces a hair color called "agouti"--the hair has dark pigment at the base and tip of each hair shaft and yellow pigment in the central portion of the shaft. Homozygous recessive mice (aa) are missing the yellow stripe and thus have solid dark-colored hair. Gene B is involved in the color...

In rabbits, spotted coat (S) is dominant to solid color (s) and black (B) is dominant to brown (b). A true-breeding black spotted rabbit is mated to a true-breeding brown solid rabbit to Iproduce a heterozygous F1 generation. Two F1 individuals are mated. You see the four expected phenotypes of offspring, but not in the expected 9:3:3:1 (black spotted: black solid: brown spotted: brown solid) ratio. This tells you that o that the genes for fur pattern (spotted vs. non-spotted)...

In rats, at least 2 different genes interact to determine hair color. The allele A causes a yellow-colored coat and the allele R produces a black coat. If two heterozygous gray rats are mated and have 16 babies, show the expected number of babies of each color. b. If a heterozygous gray rat is mated with cream-colored...

the answer I gave was wrong 1 1 - - 1 Hair color is determined in Labrador retrievers by alleles at the Band E loci. A dominant allele B encodes black pigment, whereas a recessive allele b encodes brown pigment. Alleles at a second locus affect the deposition of the pigment in the shaft of the hair; dominant allele E allows dark pigment (black or brown) to be deposited, whereas recessive allele e prevents the deposition of dark pigment, causing...

    19. Two different gene loci are responsible for determining mouse coat color. A recessive lethal allele contributing to yellow coat color also exists for one of these two gene loci. The following genotypic and phenotypic information about the mouse coat color alleles is known: (6) Agouti = A-B- • Yellow = AA'B-or A'aB-or A'ab- Lethal (inviable zygote) = A'A- Black = aaB- Albino = -bb a.
