marketing communication is more complex today than it used to be for IKEA. in the past IKEA customers recieved marketing information about goods and services from a limited number of sources. with a limited number of sources, marketers at IKEA company could easily convey a uniform brand image and coordinate promises. presently, consumers of IKEA goods and services recieve communicatiob ftom a far richer variety of marketing vehicles, website social media and mobile advertising, blogs, virtual communities, direct email and movie even ensuring that messages from all company sources are consistent

PUBLIC RELATION (PR) FOR IKEA

In this project question I have to analyze the type of marketing communication that is suitable for IKEA. Basically IKEA is an organization deals in furniture, home appliances, kitchen appliances and home accessories etc. Marketing communication is one of the most important part of advertisement. Target market is affected by the marketing of the product. As per the information given in this question I can say that this organization should focus on PUBLIC RELATION (PR) marketing communication. Basically public relation helps the organization in creating long term relationships with the customers. Consumers of IKEA receive communication from a far richer variety of marketing vehicles, website social media and mobile advertising, blogs, virtual communities, direct email and movie etc. So organization should use all these tools for public relation marketing. Social media is one of the most effective tool in public relation. IKEA can build strong relationship with its customers with the help of social media tools. IKEA should follow the strategies of public relations because company can easily convey a uniform brand image and coordinate promises to its customers. So in my opinion I would suggest IKEA to follow public relation market communication strategy for the growth and development of the organization and it will help the company in development of long term relationships with its consumers.

Public relation of this organization should focus on various parameters -

1. Long term relationship with its customers.

2. Providing effective advertisement for the target market.

3. Feedback of the customers should be analyzed by the organization.

4. IKEA should change in the advertisement strategies as per the requirement of the customers.

5. Strong image in the mind of customers should be developed by the organization.

6. PR marketing communication helps the organization in growth and development.
