Groupthink is the process by which too many people present in a group that results in poor decision making. This occurs in a situation where the strengths and weaknesses of all opinions and options are not evaluated prior to decision making process. Firstly the manager must ensure to think from different angles while taking an appropriate decision. Secondly, there must be transparency on the goals and objectives of the group or the organization so that the best possible decision can be made from various choices available which can result in a position outcome.
