Question: What process uses glucose to synthesize a larger molecule?

Answer is option 5 Glycolysis

Explanation:

Glycolysis : A metabolic pathway which occur in the cytoplasm and breakdown one glucose molecule into two molecule of Pyruvic acid via a series of intermediate metabolite.

Also known as EmbdenMeyerhofParnas (EMP pathway).

In the absence of oxygen end product of glycolysis is Lactic acid instead of pyruvate.

Here the diagram of Glycolysis pathwayELL GLYCOLysis PATHWAY GLUCOSE (I molecure) GLUCOKINASE 3 ADP GLUCOSE 6-PHOSPHATE PHOSPHOGLUCOSE ISOMERAS& J FRUCTOSE 6-PHOSP

Hope you understand the pathway
