In the cary 60 Spectro polarimeter, however the folded optical beam is capable of making difference ORD measurement by means of a specially designed cell holder. The same prevails is applied to the cary 61 circular dichrometer with slight modifications for difference C D measurement. The difference ORD Technique can be a useful tool for measuring small changes in the optical rotation of protein solutions under various conditions, such as changes in P^H and temperature and denaturing agents
