1. Moore’s Law is said to be more of a trend, rather than a representation of the actual number of transistors on a silicon chip. What is the current status of Moore’s Law? If it is not exactly holding true, what does this mean for the future of the computing industry?

Answer)
Moore’s Law is defined to be the computer law which defines that the number of transistors on the integrated circuits will double time to time such as in an interval of 2 years. Thus as per the progression for the computers, laptops and other devices Moore's law has held true. This law has been holding since Moore’s law came into existence. Moore's prediction has proved accurate for several decades but Moore’s law might not continue to hold in 10 or 20 years due to the reasons such as:
a) The number of the transistors in a dense integrated circuit may continue to grow as such in some years to come but will eventually come to a halt in 10 or 20 years.
b) More concentration is given on More specialized chips which may not follow Moore’s law anymore and also algorithm and software development than before thus making Moore’s law non-consistent with the future.

The current status of Moore’s law is still that Moore's law is being followed in several areas of computing where a number of transistors on the integrated circuits are still double, but also several means of the algorithm and software development is being done for more optimal utilization of the programming and resources. Also, a larger part of the processing power is being handled by cloud computing, quantum computing which does not will necessarily follow Moore’s law, and thus the current scenario is this.

It is often said that protein complexes are made from subunits (that is,individually synthesized proteins) rather than as one long protein because it is more likely to give a correct final structure. a. Assuming an error rate of 1/10,000, what fraction of bacterial ribosomes would be constituted correctly if the proteins were synthesized from one large protein versus assembled from individual proteins? For sake of calculation assume that the ribosome is composed of 50 proteins, each 200 amino acids in...

It means that investors can evaluate the economic performance of a firm, and make comparisons between firms, by using It means that the focus of all financial analysis is on the return on total assets rather than just the return of a portion of the assets. It means that everything is relative, so comparison of individual and group...

As the textbook says, there is no general federal law that requires businesses to disclose to customers when their personal information has been compromised in a cybersecurity breach. Instead, there are different laws in every state. For this assignment, you'll look at Washington's disclosure law: http://app.leg.wa.gov/RCW/default.aspx?cite=19.255.010 (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site. If you've never read a law before, this is actually a great one to start with. Like most, the language is rather convoluted, but at...
