Problems are written below with their respective experimental results

Plasmid DNA liquid added to T tube was really 95% ethanol( toxic to bacteria)- D

All E.coli cultures had already acquired resistance to Ampicillin prior to transformation-B

Heat shock set up to 95-degree Celcius, instead of 42-degree Celcius, killing all cells-A

Forgot to add CaCl2 to make cells competent prior to transformation-C

As a general principle, in order to validate results in scientific experiments, scientists use controls.  A control is a group that is designed to demonstrate that the results/changes observed in an experiment were because of the procedure you performed.  It sets a baseline value with which the scientist can compare with experimental sample and interpret results, as was demonstrated in the previous question.  In this question, we are asking you to describe the control experiments, using the same transformation protocol, with pGLO plasmid.  ...

This is what we did in the experiment .First of all,1 µl of plasmid DNA was added into the tube which contains competent cells and the tube was tapped gently to mix DNA and the competent bacteria. After that it was placed on ice for 30 minutes. Then, the tube with the competent bacteria and plasmid were transferred to heating block at 42 °C and the tube was leaved in there exactly 90 seconds. 0.25 ml of LB broth was...
