First we convert 1 gm into milligram, multiplying the value by 1000. Thus

Since, 30 mg of chemical is dissolved in 1L of water, thus, 1000 mg chemical is dissolved in

(1000 mg × 1L ) ÷ 30 mg

= 33.3 L

Thus the answer is 33.3 L
