Moles =

given mass of the substance ÷ atomic mass

atomic mass of Zn = 65.38 g/mol

moles of Zn = 15.4 g ÷ 65.38 g/mol

= 0.2355 mol

3. Molar mass = given mass ÷ moles

= 6.66 ÷ 0.274

= 24.31 g/mol

4. Moles of carbon = given mass ÷ atomic mass

= 41.20 ÷ 12.011

= 3.43 mol

5.Mass of helium (in grams)

= moles × Atomic mass

= 2.34 × 4.0026

= 9.37 grams
