Answer #1

The answer is, ksp= 1.35x10-8

Inorder to find the Ksp, we have to find the solubility S in terms of mole/L (M) unit. Given 0.15g Zn(OH)2

ie; Number of moles=given mass / molar mass

= 0.15g / 99.424gmol-1= 0.0015mol

hence, S=0.0015mol / 1L = 0.0015mol/L

and the calculation for ksp is given as follows,Zn(OH)2 → 202+ + 204 Ksp = [Zn2+] [ou]? Esp = Sx(23)2 ksp= 453 = 4x(0-0015) » = 1135x1018
