Answer #1

Answer:-formula of hydrate :- SnCl4.4H2O

for solving this question first we have to calculate  the moles of water and then we have to calculate the moles of stannic chloride

mass of hydrated water = 1.0000 - 0.7836 = 0.2164 g

moles of hydrated water = 0.2164 / 18.0153 = 0.012012 moles

moles of anhydrous stannic chloride = 0.7836 / 260.5 = 0.0030081 moles

no of water molecules per stannic chloride = 0.012012 / 0.0030081

no of water molecules per stannic chloride = 4

so the formula of hydrate will be SnCl4.4H2O
