8. From Boyle's law,

for a given mass of gas at constant temeprature, P1V1 = P2V2

P1 = initial pressure of oxygen gas = 1.20 atm

V1 = Initial volume of oxygen gas = 44.40 mL

P2 = final pressure of oxygen gas = 0.80 atm

V2 = final volume of oxygen gas = ?

1.20*44.40 = 0.80* V2

Therefore, final volume of the oxygen when presssure is reduced to 0.80 atm is 66.60 mL
