Answer #1

Dilantin molecule:

----> 11.1 ppm ---->.9.3 ppm Aromatic 10 H = 7.4 ppm

NMR Spectrum of Dilantin show three siganal.

Dilantin moiety has two phenyl group so their 10 aromatic proton gives a signal at 7,4 ppm. { actually all 10 protons in two phenyl groups are not equivalent but in the given NMR spectrum all 10 protons give only one signal Which may be due to the given spectrum may take in lower classical NMR instrument}.

And Dilantin moiety has two N-H protons. One N-H proton present in between two carbonyl group so which is more acidic and the chemical shift value in 11.1 ppm

Another N-H proton is less acidic compare because which adjacent to only one carbonyl group. So the chemical shift value is 9.3 ppm
