Answer #1

Watson and crick's discovery on DNA structures not onky found the 3D structure of DNA but also unveiled insights knowledge of specific base pairing and how they are working on controlling genetics. Specific base pairing like adenine with thymine and guanine with cytosine. Watson-Crick model predict that a replication form was present which found during replication process. DNA structure have complementary base pairing and when we unwind this double helix structure it gives us two separate singke strand. Because of this base complimentary each of single strand will act as template for when it will begin to reform a double helix identical. So this newly added nucleotide are assumed to come from free nucleotide which must be found in the cell. So if thus model is true then each daughter molecules should contain one parental nucleotide chain amd newly synthesized nucleotide chain. Here single nucleotide strand is replicating to form double strand DNA. This model also confirm that in order to coly DNA itself it must open down the center like zipper coming apart, so that a new DNA strand could ne built on complimentary side.
