Exocytic pathway:- their is fusion between plasma membrane and extra cellular space with secretory vesicle .

Similarity:- If there is increased in level of insulin there is glucose uptake, into cell.

GLUT 4 is stored in vesicle and transport to plasma membrane.

Difference:-

A.Glucose stimulated Insulin secretion :-

1. the uptake of glucose get increases, through GLUT2 into beta ( pancreatic cell).

2. There is increased in production of ATP,

B. insuline stimulates GLUT 4. :-

1.In aerobic condition there is transportation of glucose into muscle and adipose tissue.

2. In case insuline is low it is found in intracellular vesicle.

A total of 3 exocytic pathway transfer vesicle to plasma membrane.

1. The constitutive . 2. The regulated . 3. The sorting secretory pathway.

1. The constitutive secretory pathway :- It delivers soluble sectory proteins, fresh protein and lipids, from Golgi apparatus to plasma membrane.

2. The regulated secretory pathway :- it is in some specialised cell which secret neurotransmitter, hormones, enzyme.

3. The sorting secretory pathway:- fusion of plasma membrane with lysosome.
