1. Basic characters of all animals of kingdom animal is

a. All are multicellular.

b. Cells lack Cellwall

c. all are Heterotrphic, (obtain energy from food)

d. All most all shows sexual reproduction

e. Almost all shows locomotion

2. Phylum Porifera.

3.radially symmetrical ; phylum Cnidaria, ctenophora and Echinodermata( only adults)

4.the three layers of tissues are

1. Endoderm from which the Digestive system , respiratory system and internal organs develop

2.Mesoderm from which Muscular system, Skeletal system, blood and reproductive organs development.

3. Ectoderm from which Integument ( skin) , nervous system devlops.

5.triploblastic

6.Porifera, Cnidaria and Ctenophora.

7. Choanocytes.

8. Water flow in canals and food collection and some times reproduction.

9.reproduction in porifera by

a) asexual methods like Budding, fraentation, and by formation of gemmules.

b) sexual methods ( these are hermaphodite and fertilization is cross and internal)

10. Spicules forms the internal skeleton, made of calcareous or silicious or spongin spicules, the main function is to support the body and some times defense.

11.Calcarious, Silicious and Spongin fibre spicules.

12. Water path in sponges, out side to Ostia to spongocoel to osculum to out side.
