I have loaded 200ng of molecular weight marker. If we consider that the molecular weight markers are present at equal proportion, then
the amount of 500bp ladder present is (200/8)= 25ng of 500bp DNA ladder
In the top band also there will be 25ng of DNA.
(P.S. Distribution in the proportion of different size DNA marker in the mix is not provided in the question. So I considered that they are present in equal prportion.)
5. If you loaded 0.2 ug of molecular weight markers with the following sized bands, how...
Molecular Key Calculation - PLEASE NEED
HELP TO CALCULATE IT!
You are setting up you own Master Mix for doing a Not1
restriction digest.
In each digestion tube you will be adding 10 ul DNA and 40 ul of
your Master mix.
You are given 10 x Not1 buffer, 10 ug/ul acetylated BSA, Not1
restiction enzyme 10 units/ul and sterile water.
How much of each of the 4 reagents would you use to make 500 ul of...
can
someone explain throughly on how to find a-c??? thanks!!!
The following question will provide practice in interpreting and analyzing gel results. 5. You obtained the DNA electrophoresis gel below. Three samples of lambda phage DNA were digested with 3 different restriction enzymes and the digested DNA was applied to the gel in lane 4 and the bands were visualized. The Hind Ill digest was used as a molecular weight standard marker and produced 6 DNA fragments of known size:...
