Q12 -the only third statement is true because the fungal infections of skin usually by outermost layer epidermis that is stratum corneum and do not penetrate deeper in skin.

In statement 1 not only caused by yeasts .Also by dermatophytes(microsporum,trichophyton etc)

statement 2 not true because infections spread by towels sharing ,clothing ,bed sharing etc or by infected person body.

statement 4 is also wrong because not most fungi penetrate the dermis.
