Chorionic villi is extra embryonic and is derived from mesoderm germ layer of mother, and trophoblast cells from forming fetus.

Neurons comprising oculomotor nerves develop from ectoderm germ layer. They develop from mesencephalon part of embryo and directed towards muscles they innervate and control.
