4). A haemoglobin abnormality is a disorder which is inherited and it may leads bliss related disorders. There are several tests which helps in detection of this disorder are as following:- A) Transferrin and Iron binding capacity: the main principle behind it as it is the main protein in the blood and it binds to iron and transports iron throughout the body helping in calculating the total iron binding capacity of blood. B). Blood smear: A thin layer of blood on a slide is prepared with a specific stain and it is observed under the microscope and the number of white blood, red blood cells, and platelets are calculated it check whether they are normal or not. With hemoglobinopathy blood cells may be small, paler may contain nucleus or having uneven haemoglobin distribution. 5. Globin chain defect: it is a gene disorder that results from a abnormal structure of globin chain of haemoglobin. It’s known as sickle cell anaemia. This disease is either inheryfrom father or mother gene or sometimes a person is a carrier carrying both healthy and defected gene. In this disorder red blood cells take the shape of sickle. The cells die at a early stage and leaving less healthy blood cells and cause hinderance in blood flow. The blood is often low in oxygen thus causing nerve or brain cells to damage or amuse cause life threatening problems.
