b) Microspores are haploid structures and are produced from diploid microsporocytes by meiosis in the anthredium.

c) Female gametophyte also known as megagametophyte produced from megaspores(n=17) which are haploid inside the ovule by mitosis.Thus, female gametophyte is also haploid(n=17).

d) The Brazil nut tree is diploid with total number of 34 chromosome (2n=34).

Thus, statement 1 and 2 are true.
