Q 3: cellular metabolism:-1. cellular metabolism in bacteria focuses on reaction by which reactant(substrate) molecule are broken down into product and generate energy. Based on the process of oxidation and dissimilation. It is basically study of uptake and utilisation of the inorganic or organic compounds required for growth ( Assimilation).

2. Bacteria culture grows faster in glucose using leucine and acetate in ergosterol . After adding glucose it results in an initial lag phase after that exponential phase , in that bacterial growth decrease. The presence of glucose express the inducible enzyme synthesis(glucose effect) ,( transient),( permanent catabolite repression).

3. Bacteria evolved in environment where sugar and salt concentration is same or lower inside the cell.

Q.4:- There are pore forming toxin which are cytotoxin protein . These generally distrupts host cell membrane. Funtions involved distruption of epithelial barrier function, eruption of bacteria growth.

Q.5:- high oxygen transfer rate are required for many shake flask . They depend on 1: physical condition ( speed of shaking , flask type ,clousure tyoe) . 2. Rheological property of culture.

The baffle flask increase oxygen.

The use of cotton to close affect oxygen supply they interfere the oxygen supply.
