Answer #1

The Lac operon is an example of inducible operon.

Inducible operon can be turned on in presence of substrate ( inducer ) and turned off in its absence.

Inducible operon contain genes for enzymes which are required in catabolic processes , for. Example , in Lac operon , gene code for enzymes which are required in sugar metabolism.

False statement- inducible operons are usually turned on .

Right statement - inducible operon are usually turned off . They are turned on in the presence of inducer or substrate.

False statement - Inducer is the product of enzymes coded .

Right answer - Inducer is required to turn off operon . If operon is not turned on , the enzymes will not be coded . So , for enzyme formation , operon should be turned on which is in presence of inducer . So , inducer can't be result of coded enzymes.
