In terms of pH tolerance, which group do most human pathogen belong to?
In terms of temperature range, which group do most human pathogen belong to?
You must explain your reasoning. Please use terms such as acidophile and hyperthermophile to answer these questions.
The human pathogens in terms of pH are meant as acidophiles which are acid-loving organisms and basophils the base(alkaline condition) loving organism. The lowest pH is the minimum growth pH and the highest growth pH is maximum growth pH.
The optimum acidic pH is considered as 5.5 for acidophiles. The stomach acid is the condition where the Ecoli, S typhi, and other intestinal pathogens are much resistant to stomach acid.
The hyperthermophile is an organism that can easily survive in an extremely hot environment. They can thrive in extreme temperature, the bacteria and Archea species can tolerate up to 100-degree Celcius. They can easily exist in high acidic and high radiation conditions.
Most familiar bacteria, like Escherichia coli, staphylococci, and Salmonella spp. are neutrophiles.
They thrive better in neutral condition and also they are meant to be surviving and having restrictions even in the alkaline environment. Hence the human pathogens like Ecoli and S typhi belong to neutrophiles.

Use epidemiological terms to describe the reservoir (human reservoir is not sufficient; see background) and the mode of transmission for each of the following situations (refer to your text): A) Spread of class pathogen via the glove. B) Spread of influenza virus via a contaminated hand. For this response please also provide justification for your answer.
CHAPTER 2 pH-specific requirement? 5. Which enzyme has the most Based on the optimum pH for pepsin, in which organ would you expect to find pepsinf 6. 7. Arginase is one of the enzymes in a sequence of reactions that converts ammonia into urea. Use this information to explain why arginase has an optimal pH of around 10. Complete the following table by filling each line with the correct value. The All or Nothing Principle applies to this question. Therefore,...
