According to the given question-

Transposon are sequence of DNA that are capable of changing their position in the genome and responsible for genetic change sue to either causing mutation or inverting the mutation and changes the genetic size and gene content.

Transposon are divided into two classes .one is called retro transposon which do their transposition activity by by RNA intermediate and increase their number and also increasing the size of the genome by reverse transcription process also causing mutation by inserting themselves within the genes and other types of transposon are DNA transposon which move from one position to another without replication i.e. they cut themselves from one position and join other positions.

So the correct answer for the given question is the transposon are found in every organisms give genetic variation to the host cell by binding to RNA and converted them into DNA vie reverse transcription and causing mutation by inserton within the genome.
