The correct answer is "the absence of the UCD protein due to miR-5 inhibiting transcription of the UCD mRNA transcript.

Explanation: Since UCD protein is formed by the activity of miR-5 on mRNA, if somehow miR-5's activity is compromised the whole process will be stopped from UCD formation to histone acetylation.

Option 5 is wrong because miR-5 doesn't directly act on p101 protein but it helps in the formation of UCD protein which is an activator of p101.
