the template strand having 3` to 5` polarity in the direction of movement of the replication fork is the template strand for the synthesis of the leading strand, and the other template strand having polarity 5` to 3` in the direction of movement of the replication fork is the template strand for lagging strand.

DNA polymerase adds new nucleotides complementary to nucleotides in the template strand,

A is complementary to T and G is complementary to C.

a) sequence of newly synthesized strands is 5`-ATCTGCTAATTTA-3` and  

5`-TAAAATTGCAGAT-3`

b) so the leading strand is 5`-ATCTGCTAATTTA-3`

the sequence of the lagging strand is

5`-TAAAATTGCAGAT-3`
