REASON

It cannot be predicted within a 2 x 2 Punnett square because the gene controlling the trait may contain different alleles.The 2 x 2 Punnett square can only accommodate 2 genes controlling a trait.Here it is not 2 gene , also we cannot say that only 2 alleles are present within a gene.
