It shows autonomous specification that dorsal lip of blastopore is capable to give rise to whole embryo and it's fate is decided autonomously not affected by surrounding cells .

Conditional specification is not demonstrated by this figure . In conditional specification the fate of cells is decided by neighbouring cells it is not decided autonomously .
