Answer #1

The process of Haplodiploidy is seen is the Hymenopterans like bees ants etc so in this case the Haploid Ant will be MALE.

According the to the protenor model also known as the the XX/X0 model the Female are the XX homogametic where as the the males are the X0 so the insect with gender X will be Male.

The lygeaues model is the more common XX/XY model where the females are homogametic so the insect with gender XX will be a female.

The ZZ/ZW system is used in the birds moths and butterflies so in this case the butterfly with the ZW gender is a MALE.

In the case of fruit the sex is determined by the X/A ration that is the sex chromosome and the autosome ratio so the the XXX/2A fruit fly has a ration that is greater than 1 so it will be a META FEMALE.

fruit fly with chromosome XX/3A has a ration lesser than 1 but between the 0.5 and 1 so it will be an INTERSEX. according to this model if the ration is 1 it is a female, o.5 is a male anything between 0.5 and 1.0 is intersex above 1.0 is meta female and below 0.5 is meta male.

Female gender 0 Barr bodies A human with karyotype 45X is a Turner female .

Solve It: Does Sex Determination Have Only Two Possible Outcomes: Male or Female? One of the most fundamental aspects of personhood is your biological sex: "It's a girl" or "It's a boyl" is often the first statement about who you are. Most people view biological sex as a straightforward, eitherfor issue-either a person is biologically male or biologically female. Like all biological characteristics, however, sex determination is achieved through a developmental process. All developmental processes exhibit variation, and sex determination...
