C. Endospore

Reason - bacteria exist in two forms: Heat-labile forms which could be killed by exposure to high temperatures, and heat-resistant form (endospores) which could not be killed by continuous boiling of the broth.

Even though L. Pasteur successfully disproved spontaneous generation but repeated experiments failed to achieve constant result failed due to growth in broath media because of the ability of some bacteria to form spore which is heat resistant.

This problem was later on over took by Tyndallization method.
